Hello guys, it’s Another Sunday again, let talk about something spiritual, the way my mind thinks it.
There are times, mostly in sports where two opponents have to fight it out and one person has to win, they pray. Now, I don’t have any issue with prayer. Yes, it is a good thing to pray before everything. You want to eat, you want to go out, you want to sleep, so on. What I don’t get is what they say in their prayer.
Most times they pray to win. Common, think about the guy upstairs, we all believe he’s not partial, we also believe we are his children, all of us.
Germany wants to play a football match against Nigeria, so Nigerian players gather to pray, and they go thus :
‘ Father lord, please we need all the three points that exist in this match. Please God daddy we know we are not prepared, we are never prepared, but we worship a lot so please let us win.’
Good prayer eh. What they are actually saying is that God should just forget his children from Germany. Remember that those ones too will pray fervently to win.
Are you trying to put God in a crossroad? Are you trying to make him partial? You seriously think he will forget to remember that he isn’t? Forget o!

The most baffling aspect of this prayer partiality is when countries go to war. We heard that during world war II the Pope was praying for soldiers that were going to war.

After chanting some Greek, Hebrew, or Latin he will say ‘ God let this children of yours going out to kill some other children of yours go safely kill those cocky aggressive British children of yours, let them make their wives and children cry, destroy the land you took time to create for them, and come back safely to us here. You know we are the real children of yours. Thank you for you have answered ‘

My drift: God is not partial, he loves us all the same way, equally, even the stupid ones.
When you have something to do that involves opponents, debates, competitions, sports, just pray for good health and maximum use of your skills. He might consider helping you on that.

If you are going to war, well, just go. Forget God. Praying to him is just going to alert him. Think about this.
